Position: Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper
Location: East of Ottawa (on site work environment)
Salary: A competitive salary based upon experience + bonus + 3 weeks’ vacation

As a Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper , this key role reports to the Office Manager and supports a variety of small businesses in their bookkeeping requirements including tax filings, financial statements, and financial analysis when needed.
Qualifications:
- A post-secondary education in finance and accounting is preferred. CPA designation is an asset but not necessary.
- Three to five years’ experience in full cycle accounting along with a good understanding of accounting standards, financial principles, and tax regulations. Experience working within accounting services is an asset.
- The ability to interpret financial information, the ability to translate to financial analysis and prepare financial statements.
- Strong time management skills, respectful of deadlines, detailed oriented and well organized.
- Excellent communication verbal and written skills in English. The ability to speak French is an asset.
